This handmade print is a reproduction of an illustration from a vintage school book. The picture was scanned, modified, then transferred to 3 lino blocks, then engraved and printed. Each block received a different color, so each print has been pressed 3 times (red, blue, black). The original authors are Georges Devy (illustrator) and Edmond Boulenaz (engraver), in the 1930's.

3 color linocut, edition of 20, numbered & signed.
Caligo Safe Wash inks, Hahnemühle 300g. acid free paper.
Print dimensions : 15 x 23 cm approx. (5.9 x 9 inches)
Sheet dimensions : 22 x 32 cm approx. (8.6 x 12.6 inches)

Sent in a rigid envelope. Sold without frame.
The printing process involves slight differences between prints.
