Household Institute Cooking Utensils Aluminum Roaster/Dutch Oven retailer with Etched Glass Lid, Vintage Aluminum Dutch Oven w Leaf-Etched Glass Lid

This pretty Household Institute aluminum, oval-shaped roaster/Dutch oven features a shiny body and a beautiful glass lid etched with leaf designs. It's in good vintage condition overall, especially given its age (which my research puts ca. mid-50s), and shows normal (but not excessive) wear--some utensil/scrubbing marks on the interior, and some discoloration on the base (see pics for the best sense of overall condition). The exterior of this item is still mirror-like, though; this sweet Dutch oven would look lovely on the shelf, stove, or table!

This piece's glass lid has a raised, fin-like center handle, and is marked H121G. The base of the roaster is stamped: Household Institute Aluminum Cooking Utensils, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.
