Originally published for Victor Jean Baptiste Petit's famous architectural work "Habitations Champetres (Country Homes) : Recueil De Maisons, Villas, Chalets, Pavillons, Kiosques, Parcs et Jardins" published in Paris, Monrocq Freres, c1855.  
This highly detailed architectural lithographic print with fine original colouring is entitled ‘Petit Chalet'.
Image size approx. 26cm x 19 cm with printed titles and excellent margins for framing, total print size approx. 34cm x 26cm.  
Victor Petit was an artist and chromolithographer who documented the picturesque architecture and gardens built in and around Paris during the Second French Empire.  He was also a member of numerous archaeological associations. 
Petit's works were available from the publishers in simple black and white lithography or in color lithography; individual plates could also be retailer ordered separately, either colored or in black and white.
