I love this planter! I was so excited to come across the mold for it, which I'm sure is no longer in production! As soon as I saw it retailer, I knew, planter!
I cast it with liquid clay, or slip, allowed it to dry, cleaned and sanded it and fired it in my kiln to 1950 degrees. I then glazed it with a crisp white, and red lips. The inside is glazed white. All glazes are lead free.
She measures 12.5 inches high, and 8 inches at widest. Planting area is 5.5 inches, 4.5 inches, 11.5 deep. Will definately be a unique piece and would be gorgeous with a fern, Christmas cactus, or succulents! There is NO drain hole in this piece.
More about this pot: This is a reproduction of a piece from Lindsey Blakweill, she was a mannequin designer during the 1980's making space age deco style busts. This particular style was titled MYMG.
