Blue opal is usually translucent, brown and black dendrite inclusions are common. The blue color ranges from electric blue to almost clear & transparent and sometimes even opaque. Depending on how the stone is cut it can be clear, scenic (showing varying degrees of color) or dendritic which has black fern like inclusions.
