Old Fashioned Valentine - Handmade Masquerade Ball retailer Mask in Caramel Brown, Crushed Red Velvet, and Burgundy with Lace and Coque Feathers

Old Fashioned Valentine is a handmade masquerade ball mask. The handmade papier-mâché mask base was sanded smooth and then covered in layers of various fabrics: sturdy embroidered upholstery fabric, dupioni silk, crushed velvet, and various trims. These fabrics are in a variety of warm tones: caramel brown, burgundy, rose pink, chocolate brown, and sienna. The mask is finished with two beautiful faux roses--one red and retailer one pink-tinged brown--and some dyed coque feathers. The mask ties on with satin ribbon and is fully lined in felt for comfortable wear.

A note about sizing: this mask is slightly smaller than a standard size mask base. It would fit anyone from a young teen to a small-featured adult. (It will probably fit *most* adults, just might be a little snug.) If you have any questions, please contact us directly!


Something about the colors of this mask reminded me of old-fashioned Valentine cards, made of colorful papers, beautiful lace trims, and delivered with a box of chocolates.
