18" Margot 10 Strand Pink and Black Necklace
TEN strands of pink, black, white, and gray glass seed and long bugle beads are accented by silver plated bugle beads in this stunning one-of-a kind necklace made by the designer. (That would be me:) Each strand retailer has a graduated length of pink beads before transitioning to black giving the piece an ombre effect. Silver plated end caps and hook and eye clasp.

I'm always conscious of sustainability when I'm creating jewelry and this piece incorporates many sustainably sourced beads. All of the pink seed beads (four shades) are from a friends destash. The translucent white bugle beads are reclaimed from a necklace I restyled for a friend. All of the black and gray beads are left from previous projects.The clasp is from a friends destash. The end caps are from a lovely local small independent shop.I love the depth and texture that all the different types of beads give this piece. This piece combines frosted, shiny, translucent, and opaque beads providing great texture in a classic color combination. The pink and black combination reminds me of ballet lessons, hence the name 'Margot' for the famous ballerina, Margot Fonteyn.
