Tropic Sun Canvas Wall retailer Hanging

Original ‘Tropic Sun' linocut print by Elizabeth Anderson. Hand carved in linoleum and hand-printed on 16" x 18" 100% cotton, natural/undyed canvas in her studio in Chapel Hill, NC. Ink colors are yellow, shades of pink, and red. Canvas comes hung on a 22.5" long, 0.5" diameter raw birch pole with with a wrapped twine hanger.


This is a multi chromatic layered print on a natural, undyed canvas background, signed and sold in a small edition. It was inspired by Matisse cut out collages and the artist's love for the ocean and tropical flora and sunsets.


Because all my prints are hand printed, there may be retailer minor differences with each print, making each one unique! For these wall hangings, there may be slight differences (less than 1" differences) in the measurements of each canvas, birch pole, and twine hanger.

Rolled up for packaging and send in a bubble mailer. Any wrinkling that occurs during shipping can be ironed out on a low heat setting with a press cloth, such as a clean cotton handkerchief or fabric scrap, between the iron and the fabric to prevent iron marks and shine
