Product Name: 1802-18 retailer Silver Serving Spoon by Poughkeepsie NY Smith Abraham Gregorius Storm and James Wilson

Offered here, a rare regional Poughkeepsie, NY coin silver large serving spoon engraved with a monogram (LA). This spoon was hand made in the early 19th century of sterling silver by Poughkeepsie NY smiths Abraham Gregorius Storm and James Wilson. Reverse is stamped "SM Wilson" in a rectangular cartouche. Condition is very good with patina, minor dints in the bowl, and surface scratching typical of a piece of this age. Dimensions: 9.25" and about 47.4 grams. Recovered from a picker in the United Kingdom.
