An unusual collector's piece of wearable art : This European sweater is by Pringles of Scotland, one of their Scottish cashmere sweaters, back when they did piece work of this caliber. The intricate beaded design was sewn by hand, and thanks to someone's loving care in storing the item and the quality of craftsmanship I cannot find any missing beads. There may be one or two but you would have to go over it with a fine tooth comb, I found none. The cashmere is a very fine wool that is still smoothly knit and soft, the color like new though the garment dates back to the nineties at least and maybe further. No size stated on tag but this would fit a size small or petite medium. Measurements: Armpit to armpit: 19.5" Waist across laid flat: approx 16" with some stretch Shoulder to hem: 20.5" retailer.
