Really nice cloisonne work depicting a trapper on this 50th Anniversary pin. The words read, "Fur Rendezvous Anchorage Alaska 1985 - 50th Anniversary 1935-1985"
Known in Alaska as 'The Rondy' the Fur Rendezvous is an annual event and is their oldest winter festival.
Started in 1935, this is a most beloved and looked forward to festival that has rich culture and lots of activities both old and new.
