Book shows sunning to the upper quarter of the spine where the dust jacket has a large open tear, also at the upper edge of top spine, base of spine. Light green cloth with gilt print at spine. Cover corners are curled slightly, Binding is solid and square, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind except retailer for one page with "plc" in margin in red ink and a coffee stain on another page. Dust jacket is tattered with large open tears at upper and lower spine, chipping at upper and lower folds, sunning, a large stain to front jacket.

Publisher's page is marked "First edition" with date.
