The Royal Poinciana (or Flamboyant tree) is one of the most beautiful flowering trees in the world. These tropical trees start each spring with thousands of bright red blooms, with rich color that isn't typically seen in other flowering trees. Royal Poinciana trees are fast-growing and can grow as much as 5 feet in one year!

*This is a starter tree! The tree will be about 20-24 inches from the top of the pot to the top of the tree! Do not expect it to be taller than 24 inches. It needs to fit in a 30 inch box with its pot. The pictures of the small trees included in this listing is the size you can anticipate.*

You will receive a 1-year-old tree that is between 20 inches to 24 inches in height. The plant will look similar to the small trees in the photos for this item, but it will not be the exact one. We trim all branches besides the top 2 or 3 due to how quickly these trees shed leaves (especially during shipping). Do not worry though, these trees grow leaves back as fast as they lose them.

This plant is well rooted and ready to be planted in the ground or in a bigger container.

We do not want your box to be a mess when it arrives, so we usually trim all branches besides the top 2 or 3. There is nothing to worry about, these plants lose leaves and grow leaves very quickly. *Royal Poincianas need warm and tropical climates. If you are not in growing zones 9-11 make sure you have a good patio spot or a way to keep the tree warm during the colder months. The tree will not do well if temperatures are consistently at or below freezing.

*Due to state regulations, we cannot ship to the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Louisiana, and Texas. We will have to cancel your order if your shipping address is in one of those states.
