The COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine have definitely fueled my art practice.
Rather than giving in to frustration and despair, I focus on the connections that are still possible and beauty wherever it can be found (or created).
This particular piece celebrates fresh air, happy feelings, & good intentions as well as the classic beauty of a rose. The substrate comes from one of my favorites indulgences- a recycled waffle cone box piece. (This is one of my largest collage on cardboard paintings)
