This one-of-a-kind duvet cover was hand-dyed (tie dyeing/ice dyeing) using professional Procion dyes, the choice dyes of serious tie dyers because of their superior staining, vibrant colors, and resistance to fading.

The duvet cover was creatively tied and then dyed in over a dozen colors, including pinks, reds, browns, grays, black, peach/coral, and watermelon. The duvet cover was stitched with nondyeing pink polyester thread. (NOTE: Colors may vary depending on your monitor or device. I try to use photographs that accurately depict the colors of the item(s). My customers frequently comment that the colors of my items are better in real life than what shows up in the photos in my listings. I have tried to accurately describe all items.)

The item is BRAND NEW but does not have attached tags because any tags / stickers were removed prior to dyeing it. It has been put back into its original packaging. See the last photo for info that was on the package.

This is a Bed Bath & Beyond brand king size duvet cover, 250 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton duvet cover only (no pillow shams). The package says the dimensions are 104" x 90", but the processed / dyed / washed sham measures 97" wide and 85" long. The set was made in Turkey and hand-dyed in the United States (smoke free environment). Button/ buttonhole closure at the end of the duvet cover.


Care instructions:

Machine wash cold with dark colors; tumble dry low or medium, or hang to dry. The item has been preshrunk, and will not shrink further with laundering.

If I am in town (almost always the case), the item will ship within 3 business days; I usually ship the same day or next business day. On the rare exception that I am out of town, this will be noted at the top of the "announcement" section of my shop (between the pictures of listings and the reviews), where you will find the estimated shipping date; in these cases, shipping will still be reasonably prompt (usually within 6 business days). Orders >16 oz ship via USPS Priority Mail, Parcel Select Ground or UPS Ground shipping. Orders over $100 in value may be sent with Signature Confirmation. Returns of unused/unworn items accepted within 2 weeks; buyer pays for return shipping. Refunds will be given for returned items at the time they are received by the seller, if in original, undamaged, unworn condition, less a $12 restocking / handling fee for this item). Please make sure you verify / double check the mailing address to which you want the item sent -- make sure the address you have provided via Etsy for shipping is the correct address for shipping.
