Cardinal on a Branch - Stained Glass retailer Suncatcher

This bright red male Cardinal suncatcher measures about 8" long measured from head to tail, but about 7" wide by 7" high as it hangs. It is constructed with 12 individually cut, smoothed, copper foiled and soldered pieces of glass. This method of stained glass is called the Tiffany Technique.

This male Cardinal faces left and pairs nicely with our female Cardinal, who faces right, although they both look great on either side of the glass.

Unlike some work sold, the metal on the edge of this piece was built up with substantial amounts of solder, in a labor intensive process, to give you the strongest and longest lasting, heirloom quality retailer product possible.

We finished it off with a dark patina which helps emphasize the details.

This piece hangs by a strong thin plastic coated metal strand cord.
