retailer This Hand forged medieval replica 15" ladle (#4 )was made in my smithy using my self developed style and process. The twisted handle is attached by a bronze puddle weld completed inside the forge at 1550 degrees to the bowl. NO RIVETS. This technique also transfers a beautiful bronze patina over the surface of the stainless steel bowl. The handle is then hot filed followed by incremental polishing until the back of the spoon is completely smooth. The bowl is 18 ga stainless steel that is hand hammered into the bowl shape.
To replicate the old world look, one must do it the old way, by the sweat of the brow. Each ladle takes about four hours to make. No two are exactly the same. Marks from the forge, hammer and anvil will be visible.

In the kitchen, BBQ, Campfire, reenactments, rendivenoeuz, or decoration, it is heavy duty and will last many years.

You will get the exact one pictured and a set of seasoning directions. It arrives with a coat of bees wax that you will wash off before completing the seasoning process. Granite pictured not included.
