Unusual yellow, brown and foiled glass and rhinestones brooch from the 1950s. This truly unusual vintage 1950s brooch featuring large claw set rhinestones in yellow and deep brown colors with unusual yellowish glass cabochon stones with pebbled glass bottom layers with reflective foil. The clear glass cabochons resemble the flash of Dragon's Breath faux opal stones and they have unusual blue flash along with the yellow from the foiled pebbled reflective layer at the base of the stones. This unsigned 2-1/4" x 1-7/8" pin is gold plated, it has a safety clasp and it is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than an internal crack on one cabochon (see image).
