Vintage Antique 1850's John Edwards White Ironstone Presidents Shape Teapot. Simple elegant design. Heavy blueish white glaze ironstone teapot. Paneled sides with leaf accents. Lid has a raised leaf pattern with a round ring finial top. Embossed dating emblem on the bottom with 'President Shape' included with the makers mark. 9" high x 9 1/2" handle to spout x 6 1/4" across. Weighs close to 3lbs without packaging. Very good vintage antique condition. Shows wear. Has crazing throughout. Light staining, glaze pops, and flaws in the clay under glaze. Not sure if the lid is correct or if retailer they were interchangeable.
