There's quite a story behind this beautiful piece. After months of sitting on this piece, not sure she was absolutely done, I brought her with me to several shows in the summer and fall of 2021. One busy day, she was tucked in the back of my display tent, barely visible. I brought her along in case I needed more pieces to display.

A sweet family came along, the father saw her tucked away in the back. What little he saw of her, he became curious and asked to see her.

I explained how I wasn't completely satisfied, yet, with her, but knew even then that I would name this piece “Joy.”

Turns out retailer that is their beautiful daughter's middle name… a month later, I finished the piece and delivered it to her parents. They surprised her with it on her birthday…

“Joy” was always meant for her.
