Baby Cot Quilt/Lap Quilt/Play retailer Mat

I have used the English paper-piecing method to hand sew the hexagons together - the black and white ones have a selection of farm animals and the sounds they make.

The fabric is 100% new cotton and the backing and double border are made from grey cotton fabric with white stars. There is also a line of yellow piping, which sets off the border nicely.

The quilting is also hand-sewn - this gives a soft and strong finish. This is a quilt made to last and to be handed down to the next baby in the family!

It is washable at 30C and can be line or cool tumble dried.

Please Note:Cot quilts are not retailer recommended for babies less than 1 year old. However, as my quilts are warm and lightweight they are super cosy in a buggy or car seat and can be a floor mat for "tummy time" until they are used on the cot when baby is a little older.
