Product code: Antique Schrafft's Chocolates & Candy Cut Glass Style Promotional Plates (Set of 6) - Pressed Glass Pattern retailer Massachusetts (#15054)

Vintage Schrafft's Chocolates EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) promotional candy dishes dating to the early 1900's. This is the pressed glass line called "Massachusetts" (pattern #15054). I was lucky to find a set of 6 of these rare collectible plates. Each has Schrafft's Chocolates in center and Schrafft's on 4 top corners. They measure 1" tall and 6.25" square. These very old dishes are not perfect but that's expected based on the age. Three of the six have some tiny flea bite chips (too tiny to photograph) and three have larger chips. They retailer are hard to see with the busy pattern. I will label the 2 different stacks (flea bites vs. chips) when packing them for shipment. I couldn't find any info on how these candy dishes would have been acquired. It could be they were a gift with purchase promotion or sold in their luncheon/tea rooms.

*** I tried to go over each plate carefully to catch all the imperfections. If I missed anything it was an accidental oversight. Keep in mind these candy dishes are over 100 years old and it's rare they still exist.

Schrafft's candy company was founded by William F. Schrafft in Boston 1861. They were not only famous for their candies but for their luncheon/tea rooms that catered to the working ladies of the time.
