Hummel Goebel 'To Market' Figurine
This single cast double figurine features a boy and girl siblings who are on their way to the market. Something appears to have caught their eye as both are looking off to the left. First designed by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1936, it was known as 'Brother and Sister.'
The figurine is crafted in porcelain and hand painted with careful attention to details. It measures 5-1/2" tall including the oval base x 2-1/2" wide x 4" long. It is marked with a pressed in "M. I. Hummel" facsimile signature on the base (her personal stamp of approval) and stamped on the underside with TMK-5 The Last Bee trademark. retailer Initialed by the painter. Made in W. Germany circa 1972 - 1979.
In Excellent vintage condition, no chips, nicks or cracks. Nice and clean, free of stains and stickers. No crazing too! This vintage Hummel would make a nice gift for your favorite collector or for yourself. Weight before packaging is 8 oz. Sans original box. Will ship boxed via USPS Priority Mail.
