Product Name: GLASSMASTERS Vintage Stained Glass Suncatcher retailer - Medieval Unicorns
GLASSMASTERS STAINED GLASS SUNCATCHER: MEDIEVAL UNICORNS I believe it is by Glassmakers; not sure of the age on this one. It shows 2 unicorns flanking a Tudor Rose shield in front of a tree in a forest-like setting. This image was adapted from an illustration in The Book of Hours of The Virgin published in France in 1497. In medieval symbolism, the unicorn stands for purity, the rose retailer for love, and the oak for steadfastness. This beautiful glass is made with applied enamels and kiln fired to last without the image scratching or flaking off. The piece has imperfections. Glass is framed in (lead- metal)? with hanging holes on the top (for S hook and chain, but not included)❌DO NOT HAVE the chain.
