Large retailer Vintage Matte Gold Toned Faceted Faux Garnet Star Brooch Pin Pendant Signed Vans Authentics

This is a really beautiful vintage matte gold toned brooch with large faceted faux garnet at the center. It looks like a flower or star or medal of honor with its 7 points and rich red faceted glass embelishment. It would make a perfect present for a January or July birthday or Christmas and looks amazing on the lapel of an overcoat or jacket or to secure a scarf or shawl.

This elegant pin measures approximately 3" wide and 3" long and rises about 1/2 inch, with a 1 3/4" pin. This is VERY nice quality costume jewelry made by VanS Authentics. It is in very good vintage condition with a secure clasp and a hook to wear it as a pendant as well. Beautifully made and quite substantial.

VanS Authentic vintage costume jewelry was founded by Joanne and Reginald Lyon Francis Moonan in the 1930s. Authentics Inc. jewelry company was active for about four decades and produced in limited edition. Later they renamed their company to VanS. Authentics. Vans costume jewelry frequently retailer appeared in fashion magazines of the time, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art acquired some of their designs.
