Roseville Zephyr Lily Vase, Sienna Brown, 131-7", 1946

The 1946 Roseville Zephyr Lily vase is classic styling with 2 handles and a form which flares up from the base like a trumpet. A single molded yellow lily is featured on each side surrounded by 3 slim green leaves. The background of retailer the body of the vase is a soft rust/brown color. The top/rim and base are dark olive green with bas relief swirls.

"Gift and Art Buyer" publication presented this vase during the Second World War in 1946.

The base is molded and marked Roseville U.S.A. 131-7" ( the shape # & size) and 6. H is hand painted in black.

Condition is perfect with the tiniest fleabite on the rim. It is so slight, I can imagine it occurred during the firing. Lovingly pre-owned.
