Vintage Polish folk doll with horse c1940's.

The doll has a hand painted clay head with wooden hands retailer and legs. He wears fancy traditional silk festival clothing. The horse head and body prop are made of wood. It is fitted with hand decorated silk drapings which are bordered with fancy decorative trim.
The doll stands on a wooden base and is in very good condition with some dust soiling to the silk fabric. There are also a couple of small spots of missing paint on the face. Please see photos for further details. The doll retains it's original tag on the base showing that it was made in Krakow (Poland).

The piece measures 13" in height and 11" in length
