Calling all horse lovers! The perfect gift for anyone who proudly declares their devotion to horses, this artisan necklace appears pretty simple on the outset, but look closely and you can see all sorts of fantastic tiny details! Of course, the lampwork glass focal piece is anything but simple, and is easily noticed first. Stamped with an incredibly detailed image of a horses head, this piece was created by glass artist Glenn Mincey (US). From the bottom dangle two tiny red pieces of Czech glass as well as a single piece of perfectly round Botswana agate and a roughly faceted piece of an unknown stone (most likely smoky quartz) all mounted on decorative sterling silver head pins. Above the horse are two corrugated sterling silver beads and a faceted nugget of a different unidentified stone that might be clear crystal quartz. Decorative bronze chain of two sizes of faceted circles connected with peanut links make up most of the length of this horse piece, but it is finished with more Czech glass and two more pieces of faceted unidentified stone. Two dangles of Czech glass on sterling decorative headpins dangle on each side. Finally, an easily manipulated hook clasp in bronze closes this entirely hand made necklace. Remaining findings include a sterling silver eye pin and antiqued gold plated wire guards. This necklace is 20 and 3/4 inches long, but can be worn shorter by using the clasp retailer hook on the larger links of the chain.
