The blocks are of a peg-and-socket design similar to Lego and a mottled light tan color, intended to resemble stone. There are 588 of these types of bricks in the set. There are also other pieces meant to resemble tower tops, roofs, windows and doors. Also comes retailer with two booklets (one showing you how to build a castle and the second a product brochure) and 5 of the original plastic soldiers that were included. A great set that's hard to come by. Very similar to Exin Castillos castle building toy range.
