RARE Two lovely French vintage MASSILLY cream color milk glass lidded terrines - pâté foie gras pots / butter pats dishes – retailer rustic farmhouse

Pair of retailer lovely milk glass terrines made by the French manufacturer Massilly, which today is better known as a maker of biscuit tins.
Dating from around the 1950s, these little pots are made of heavy milk glass in a gorgeous shade of dark cream (one slightly lighter than the other). This is a classic shape for a pâté or foie gras dish, and the lid has a sweet little domed finial.
Height about 8.5cms (3.5 inches); diameter 10cms (4 inches), opening 6.5cms (2.5 inches).
Base is stamped ‘Terrine Euro-cap. No.12. Massilly France. Modèle depose.'
Excellent vintage condition, slight nibble on the edge of one pot.
Would make very original butter dishes in a rustic or French farmhouse décor.
