RARE! Ice skating judge's vintage fabric blue portfolio/briefcase/messenger retailer bag - Chiba Makuhari, Japan, 1994

RARE! A blue synthetic-fabric briefcase used at the World Figure Skating Championships at Chiba, Japan in 1994.

Zippered exterior compartment. Mock-leather piping trim. Multiple zippered pockets. Two interior compartments.

Mock-leather handle; brasstone hardware. Braided synthetic strap (adjustable).

29 cm x 38 cm x 4.5 cm

This piece belonged to Brenda Long-Simpson, a British former figure skater and highly esteemed Winter Olympics-level judge. Two of her labels are still attached to the bag retailer (one is rather sweetly in the shape of a skating boot!)

As this is a vintage item, it may have a slightly musty smell. This item has been in storage until recently but will quickly freshen up.
