FIZZ - Silver retailer Star Necklace with Organic Texture - Made upon Order - Nickel Free - Handmade in the USA

retailer This design is based off my favorite ring in my signature series. The Fizz series is not cast from a prefabricated mold! Instead I choose to make each piece from scratch using completely reclaimed silver. It gives me a chance to recycle through my art, and it gives you the chance to have a truly one of a kind piece :D

::::: How is it made? :::::
I start with a sheet of thick sterling silver and cut out the base. I use my favorite hammer to give the first layer of texture, and then I stamp the back with the metal quality and add my benchmark. The balls are a mix of sterling and fine silver scrap that I melt down into a million different sizes. After I fuse each ball to the star, I give the pendant a patina to add a bit of contrast. No two pendants are ever the same.

The overall size of the pendant is 1" (25mm).
The attached jump ring is soldered closed, and the pendant may be removed from the chain.
