We make only 2-3 bags from each quilt and every one of retailer them is one of a kind!

How it's made:
Kantha quilts are made using numerous layers of recycled silk or cotton saris which are hand stitched in the traditional Bengal style called Kantha. What originated as a cost effect way to produce warm blankets has developed over the years into a beautiful art form, creating truly unique one of a kind designs.
This jacket has six layers of recycled cotton sarees and gamchas quilted together using thousands of tiny hand stitches. The fabrics are preloved and delicate so after the quilting is done, sections of the fabric are pulled out exposing the stunning layers below. Delicate spots and holes are mended with tiny patches adding additional charm and individuality.
Our quilt fabrics are hand stitched in Jaipur and the cutting and final product stitching happens in our home studio in Delhi.
