Antique Chinese Ch'ing ( Qing) Dynasty Rare Oval silver floral etched beads (1644 -1911 ), Handmade oxidized sterling silver ear wires

Ornately deeply etched antique Qing Dynasty ( 1644-1911 ) silver alloy beads from the turn of the century have 2 different intricately etched flowers on either side . I've shown this in the different pictures.

These silver beads are approximately 15mm across or 5/8" and almost 1" in length and have an oxidized sterling silver bead cap at the top and bottom of each bead . These antique Chinese silver beads have a wonderful patina to them which is mimicked in the handmade oxidized sterling silver ear wires .

We found these antique beads during the mid 1980s in Hong Kong Central on Cat Street which is where many of the antique dealers reside. I was always searching for unusual antique Chinese beads when I was designing for the Sackler Gallery's museum shop here in Washington, D.C. ( the Smithsonian's Asian museum )

I've finished these simple yet quite elegant earrings on handmade elongated retailer oxidized sterling french ear wires.

Total length of these earrings is approximately 2" and they will arrive gift wrapped in a little box tied with a pretty ribbon all ready for gift giving.
