Loosely inserted is a specimen illustration from 'Our Rarer British Breeding Birds'.One of the many books based retailer on wildlife in St Kilda by Richard Kearton, one of the world's earliest wildlife photographers. Illustrated, with a frontispiece and many full page illustrations. Prize bookplate to the front pastedown, from the RSPCA Wirral Branch to Constance Milne for an essay on 'Kindness to Animals' dated 1905. Condition Report: In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear to the board edges and joints. Small spot to the rear board. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall: Near Fine
