Vintage 12" Black retailer Applause Raggedy Ann and Andy cloth dolls & Rocky Road a 5 1/2" Russ Berry Plush Puppy with Cupcake

For modern Raggedy Fans, I am offering 3 used, but well treated, vintage treasures.

The first is a vintage pair of Applause 12" Black Raggedy Ann and Andy cloth dolls, with their original tags. To me, they look new, like display pieces that were not played with. The Black rag dolls differ from their more common white rag doll versions only in their skin and hair color. The dolls themselves have black yarn hair surrounding their brown, round, smiling faces. They have beautifully embroidered features - triangle orange nose and lips with black mouth, eyebrows and lashes. Raggedy Ann's clothing is iconic - embroidered white-aproned flowered-dress over white bloomers all over red and white fabric stockings and black shoes. Raggedy Andy is in a red and white collared checkered shirt with white collar and blue ribbon tie. His blue pants have embroidered buttons and is worn over his red and white fabric stockings and black shoes. Atop his head is his iconic embroidered, blue and white cap, The clothes are charming and well-made! The dolls are aged, maybe a little wrinkled, a little faded but in overall, EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Next is Rusty Road, a 5 1/2" tan and brown plush puppy, sitting up, holding a cherry topped chocolate frosted cupcake in the retailer paws. This charmer is from Russ Berrie and Company. He is used, has been steam cleaned, and is in excellent condition.
