Antique 1850s retailer to 1900s Scovill Mfg. Oil/Kerosene Hurricane Lamp/Light Clear Glass Finger Hold Colonial Farmhouse/Country/Home Decor Prop

~ Here is a hurricane lamp from around the 1900s or so. The burner was made by Scovill Manufacturing Company. The chimney is the oddest shape I've ever seen. It's sort of flat on the sides. It's pretty cool. If using just for decor, that's fine. There is no wick. If you want to use it for its original purpose, you would need a wick and I retailer believe they used to use some sort of putty or something around the neck of the base, however that is gone so it would need some.
