Antique retailer Slag Glass Vase with Ram's Heads

This antique slag glass vase was made in England in the 19th C. It has numerous classical elements to the design. The 4 retailer ram's heads hold swags or garlands, the reeded treatment to the base and urn and the gradrooned edge to the vase are all classical details. It is made in a 2 part mold and the seam where they join can been seen in some photos. It stands 6.75 inches in height and is in excellent condition with no chips or apologies. The base has a diameter of 3 inches. This type of antique glass, called malachite glass in England, is quite unique and worthy of a glass collection.
