This pretty bone china afternoon tea set for two is in the highly desirable 'Moss Rose' pattern by Royal Albert. It comprises a 3-tier cake stand and two matching trios (2 teacups, 2 saucers and 2 side plates). The plates are gently fluted, with footed teacups. All items have pretty pink and green buds and pink roses around the border and in the retailer middle, with gold rims. The bottom eared cake plate of the cake stand has lovely gold detail on the handles.
The set is in very good condition, with only slight loss of gold on the rim of some items. The pattern on the trios is a little lighter than on the cake stand. The side plate of the stand has some roughness around the drilled hole but this doesn't show when assembled. Nonetheless, this is reflected in the price. Gold cake stand rods included.
