Vintage 40s Ladies Fingerless Gloves Long Black Mesh Lace retailer Size M

This is a wonderful pair of 1940s retailer or 50s vintage ladies' fingerless gloves that are made in a fine black mesh lace in an elbow length, rather sexy. I believe that they are made of a cotton or cotton blend. They are in very good condition with no pronounced wear. The label reads “M Made in Canada” - I normally wear a size 7 and I was able to get them on, but they were a little snug, despite the stretch of the mesh lace. They have a length of 15 1/2” and a palm width of 3 1/4” unstretched.
