Lovely stylish aluminium Empire Bel cream maker.
This nifty little device uses a pump action to blend butter and milk into cream. You can also use it to make mayonnaise.
This is the model which clamps to the table so that it doesn't slip around - my mum preferred this sort when she was using them in the 1950s
These cream makers were made in Surbiton, England from the mid 1930s onwards by Royston Bel Sales Ltd, and this model could have been made at any time between the 1930s and 1960s.
