Laquered wooden tray with handpainted retailer lizards

This is one of my most favorite finds ever! This tray/bowl retailer measures 14x10 inches and 2.5 inches deep. It is made of wood with a wonderful amount of laquer over a great hand-painted bunch of lizards. It is signed on the back José Jimonez and Huatulco. Please take a close look at the photo of the back where you will see a ring 2 inches across where possibly this piece was held up while painting. (Just a guess) . Aside from that defect while painting it is in excellent vintage condition with no other flaws that I see. A very unique piece for anyone who can appreciate a art piece.
