This fun holiday decoration is still in its original box, though it was taken out and used at Christmas for a few years. It still works just fine! No batteries are needed, as it plugs into the wall. The display can be set on a surface or hung; all the little pendulum pieces are intact. One bulb from one of the houses is not retailer working but they can be change . I change them a few times Mickey and friends sing several different carols.
