The presented sample is a reconstruction of a 9th-10th century find from South Rus and Khazar Khaganate.

Clay flasks, like leather ones, are used to transport liquids. However, they have a number of advantages that put retailer them above their leather counterparts.

- We can also pour strong alcohols into a clay skin bag, without fear that it will damage the structure of the skin - which happens when using leather.
