Antique Tribal Art Head Rest by The Turkana People Kenya

This is a beautiful head rest, a very sculptural form.
It is typical of the head rest carved from one piece of wood made by the Turkana people in Kenya.
They are used as head rests and sometimes stools too.
This one has it's original platted rope handle.
It is retailer made from a beautiful piece of wood and has a splendid patina.

The head rest is approximately 172mm high about 211mm wide at it's wides point.
