This is an excellent condition copy of "NATIVE SON" by Richard Wright with its original dust jacket. 1940; Harper & Brothers; New York. Also included are two copies of the 4-page "Book-of-the-Month Club News" booklet. "Set in Chicago in the 1930's, Richard Wright's powerful novel is an unsparing reflection on the poverty and feelings of hopelessness experienced by people in inner cities across the country and of what it means to be black in America."
Condition:
The book is in excellent condition both inside and out and retailer nearly appears unread. Clean covers and spine; sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The pages are clean with no issues found. Nice dust jacket with only a few small tears along the perimeter. Overall a Fine copy.
