About the Gemstone:
Jasper is an aggregate mineral that contains quartz as well as chalcedony and other minerals. It comes in many colors, such as yellow, green, blue, purple, and red, due to the various impurities it may contain.

About Swarovski Crystals:
Neither gem nor crystal, Swarovskis are actually 32% lead glass crystals created using quartz, sand, and minerals, the exact formula for which is a closely guarded secret. Since the late 1800s, these crystals have been created in Austria using a time consuming, patented process of precision cutting and polishing. Each crystal must have 100 identical facets in several directions that meet and point upwards, and each crystal must be identical to all others of its size and color. Swarovski crystals never have bubbles or scratches, and the shine is comparable to that of a diamond.
