Large Bakelite Square Brooch Yellow Red Black Art Deco retailer

Offered is a super cool large bakelite brooch. Measures 2.5” x 2”. Features a large yellow square of bakelite that has a swirl design. Each side has a dark red attached piece. The center is a large circle with a sparkly piece in the center. I am not even close to being an expert on bakelite jewelry. I know this is very attractive. I almost wonder if it wasn't repurposed. The clasp on the back appears more modern then I would expect. It may be vintage bakelite pieces repurposed into an attractive brooch. However, I can say neither way for sure and I am pricing it the way I bought it. If it is not repurposed someone will be getting a tremendous bargain. Excellent condition. I have owned it for about 30 years. I kept it just because I liked it. retailer
