Funky and unusual set of four Mexican Modernist copper wire retailer buttons are full of fun and whimsy. These vintage buttons are handmade, spiraling copper wire and form a three dimensional cone with shank. Never owned stock, never worn.

This item comes from a shop operated in Portland, Oregon from the 1940's - 1969. Any wear is consistent with age and storage. Some natural oxidation is normal for copper.

My mother owned a chic little place known as the Mexican Craft Shop, which carried handblown glassware, handmade pottery, stunning SW Indian and Mexican jewelry, baskets, textiles, leather goods, and clothing. This item was part of her inventory. After many years of waiting patiently in storage, these items are ready for a new home... and a new story.
