Fabulous vintage find!
These are Very RARE Vintage items from the Legendary Carousel Casino in Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street.
Canary glass ashtray & a book of front strike Carousel Casino matches. Both are in Excellent "used vintage" condition. Actually matches are un-struck and not used. Ashtray has no cracks or chips, there is retailer a few tiny bubble type marks in the bottom of the glass (see photos) I'm told that was very common back then when made in canary or amber colored glass.
Marty's Carousel Casino opened on Fremont Street in 1965, and closed in 1974. It was located right next to the Mint. They advertised Loose Slots and great odds on table games, along with Free Parking.
